Regrettably with my limited "English" and the bizarre translations of the translators in lines I cannot say to you about it much more.....

If my "English" was better, I would have been able to say to you: this is a joke.....

The photos that you had are made a present which I made to Sam. It is a creation of the French sculptor Serge Raoux..... http://www.serge-raoux.fr/galerie.php

Fortunately I have lost never again a knife, especially it he there: " mini Joe " ...Sam would have killed me...;)

Sam has just received his present today, I had spoken about one of my knives which had suffered, hanging 1/10 of second by looking at the knife he believed in it.....

What you see is made in ONE piece of "box tree".....I hope that you were surprised, Sam said to me that it was going to take it for Atlanta...... "Rendez-vous" Table #20Q...

Regards,

Norbert

That hunter is absolutely gorgeous, Norbert. Sam has such a great eye for lines, flow and dimensions.

That looks like something I would have made! :-)

Very cool and amazing. and beautiful work by both. Gorgeous finish on that hunter....

Thanks for him,

I had discovered the work of Serge on my first one Viallon, then I "cracked" for his collaboration with Raphaël Durand. Bec Puzzle..This knife had taken away the first price to Seki in 2010.

WOW! You had me all the way. What an incredible ability to recreate a 'destroyed' knife.

Seeing these other two knives and their work, I see Serge Raoux is limitless.

Thanks for such a curious post.

I had to read through this a few times before I got it. Even then it took me the third time to realize it is all just a piece of wood. What amazing rendering of form, textures and color...WOW!
