Damn! Any word on what they are going to go for? If there are any "left over" (those that don't have them should get the first shot), I might be interested.

Brad,

Thanks for the fast response, but oddly enough a friend of mine just called and said that he bought a 98 Commander for me from a guy @ The SHOT Show, and while it's not NIB, it is pristine (satin plain) and I'm obligated to purchase it from him since I asked him to locate one for me before he left for the show. Thanks for your time, and I'll bet there's alot of 98 Commander fans in here who are glad that I'm not buying the one that you offered to me.

Thanks again.

P.S. I'm also in the process of acquiring one of the new downsized MOD Dieter CQD MKII's with the carbide glass breaker. My wife is gonna kill me.

I'm really tickled that this has come about.

My carry Commander is BT, plain edged and Serial #761. Ya'll are really going to like them.

Did "Lureman" get taken care of? He is after all the guy that has been the most tenacious about getting one.

As I said, if there is an extra, I have cash in hand.

John,

I made sure that Lureman found about this, and I believe he scored!!! After Lureman got his, I think I picked up the last one

, since I didn't have a 1998 Commander!!

Thanks again Brad!

Thanks everyone all 98 are spoken for......
If i find more i will let those that replied have first shot....

Hey Suspects,
Even though I was lucky enough to be first in line, guilt and a sense of fairness compels me to offer it to a suspect who doesn't already have a '98. However, as I already told Brad, if nobody wants it, I will be happy complete the purchase. Just want to make sure that the goodies get fairly spread around.

Brad, John, Chuck, JimBob, and a few other guys:

I think I got one coming that I can put in the collection!

Brad...what can I say, but a very big thank you!

You others...I said it before, but it should be said once-again, the fellowship we share is more important in the long run, than the knives themselves; you guys make this hobby!
You are a great bunch...I'm glad I'm here!

Dan...AKA "lureman"

Hey????

What did I miss here. Anymore left? I've been looking for one. We'll, after Lurman & Sniper got theirs first.
