After trying alot of different folders, I finally found the perfect one, the Para II. I cannot not find a negative thing about it. It is the perfect size, weight, and fit my hand perfect. Mine unlocks smooth and the blade is centered. It came razor sharp. The only problem is I will have to but a couple more as spares. I would like to try one of the sprint run models. Do you think this knife would stand some heavy use? I farm and like a knife I do not have to worry about. I do not pry or try to make a screw driver out of it. I also need a regular millie to go with it.

i love mine more than the millie. the shorter blade and slightly more stout tip make it a much better/robust knife. good work getting one. as long as you use it as a knife and not an axe, you will find it will last.

I have not owned one yet but based on the many favorable reviews took a leap of faith and have an orange and a green on preorder. I have actually only had one spyderco folder that just did not fit me. I sold my endura because in my smallish hands it just seemed not quite right. I love my spydies from my tiny dragnfly 2 up to big beefy GB but never took to the endura. I think I will enjoy the P2.

I have the brown/s35vn one in the mail right now. I'm excited to try out my first real Spyderco (after my SS Ladybug).

Razor,I've came to the same conclusion as you,but sometimes I carry my old para 1 just for old times sake, its a great knife in its own way.

I also knew the knife would be a para2 when I read the title LOL!:D Its a damn fine blade

Yes, you can use them hard. Just be careful with that delicate tip. She's an excellent slicer and carver as long as you don't torque on that point too hard.

The Para2 Is An Excellent Knife, I Kind Of Got Mine On A Whim, And Wouldn't Change Having It For The World.

You Can Use Them For Hard Use, As Long As You Don't Abuse It. =]

I agree the para2 is a great knife. In order to get a great knife perfect, required a little tweaking. Step one: buy cts-20cp para2. Step two: send said para2 to Tom for a regrind. Step three: get rid of the grey g10 by transplanting the blade into a black handle. Ta-da! The perfect knife!
