I was digging around in some tool boxes and forgot I had this. It was made by my father in 1944 in New Guinea. You can barely make out the stamping from a center punch.

Thanks for that info...didn't know that...in fact never heard of it.Actually, from 1903 to mid 1906 the .30-03 was the standard US military cartridge.
