I know nothing about swords but anyone that does is going to want to see clear pictures that don't look like old-fashioned newsprint renditions. At the moment it certainly does look like a sword to me, but that's the best advice I can offer.

I'm the last guy to give advice on swords but that doesn't look Japanese to me at all. How long is it?
