This head cleaned up well, but when I was doing a test fit on a haft I noticed these cracks. Do I pitch the head, see if I can get it welded somewhere cheap, or hang it and hope for the best?

Cracks. They get a tad wider when the handle is inserted with force.Are those actually cracks or is it a Plumb?

I'd suggest welding the wider one.
