I received my anchor chain via USPS today, it's even neater looking in person than I thought it'd be. One link was missing it's web, so I'll send it all back to IG to have the web installed <g>. IG, do you have any idea what so ever as to the age of this stuff? Late 1800's maybe, or more recent? Doesn't matter anyway, but it's always neat to know the history on older things. I did notice a stamp that said "No_h's Ar_", but I don't know what that stands for.
Thanks again guy, this is really neat! I appreciate all the trouble you went to in order to get all of this stuff shipped out to us!
 
Damn!! That sucker must have taken the scène route. Boy do I feel better that you got it. :D :D :D Nobody wanted to lift that sucker up, must of sat on the Post Office's floors for a while. Still have one package MIA.

Gosh! He'd sure clank when he waltzed! So, should I attempt to forge any of this IG, or is it better just to shape it with grinders, etc? I hate to even cut it up, but I think I'll sacrifice one link for fittings. I think you guys said to etch it to bring out the "character".

IG, I took at least 50 pics that day!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Had to buy an extra special camera to take pictures of UGLY people, like me & you, and a whole bunch of other people that we know :eek:

Fortunately, not too many of them were of U :D
