I told myself (and everyone here) that I would keep my new 15 stock, or mostly stock for as long as possible but I gave in only three days into ownership. :( Here's what I decided to do: deepened logo with pcb, micarta and liners, deepened jimping a tad, stripped, gave it a subtle patina, and finally put a Lansky 20* edge, stropped with a gentlemans touch. I like the way the patina came out, almost has a snakeskin look to it at the right angle, kinda cool. Pics beloooooowwwww....

Ah, the famous paper towel patina! Knife looks great.
The bucket of bugs took me by surprise, tho.

Holy POOP!! That is a lot of lobster. I am contemplating as we speak what to do with my 15. A very nice knife.

Great pics!
I especially like the lobstah pic.
That's one of the main things I miss about living back in south eastern New England.
I was in south eastern Mass 2 months ago but I didn't get a chance to get any lobster.
I did pig out on some fried scallops though.

Looks good. When I saw the first picture I thought for a second you were cooking your BK15 in bacon.
