Hello all, Just wanted to share my new set of Buck knives and a few other cool knives...

I got this Buck 117 set the other day at the swap meet along with these other knives... The 117 Buck set has a few scratches on there blade and there pommel... But still nice... I took them over to Leroy's and he made them look like new... Here's a picture of them when I got them... I will try to take a picture of them today and show you how they look now.... I got a few other cool knives at he swap meet too, sorry there not bucks but I like other knives too... You got to like the plier knife made by H.H.H. (Oscar Barnett Tool Co.) 1900s...

Thanks
ITE

Clint,

I only have 2 sets 104 and 117... But I'll buy everyone I see at the swap meet, but I do like them... I love San Diego, I wish Buck was still here....

Armond, Thats the Trophy Set, 1986 and 87 for the 103. So, you also have the other two twin sets? Buck was selling some at the 20yr. reunion. DM

Thanks,
Armand

David M., How much was the Twin set up at the 20yr reunion??? I hear the 103 was a new one... But no price on the set... We all hear about the Great deal they had at the reunion, but no prices on all the cool knives and stuff... Thanks, ITE

Nice find Armand! :) I sure do miss the San Diego swap meets! You can almost always find a Buck knife on a sunny saturday morning.
The Twin sets we had at the 20th were something around $100 if I remember right. They came about because while looking through absolutely everything in the "secret store room", looking for cool things to offer at the event, I found some Twin set sheaths. I knew I had some old, 2 line (?) 116's laying around so I tossed in a current 103 Skinner.
I cant guarantee that the sheath and 116 are of the same vintage but it did make a nice set.

Thanks Joe, $100 is a great deal on a twin set... I wish I could have been there for the 20th... You are right about the sunny Saturday and Sunday morning swap meets... There is always some kind of Buck knife to be had... You just never know what Kind of Buck knife or other knives you are going to find out there... Everyone knows someone who worked for Buck at one time and just about everyone I talk too about Buck knives knows you or something about you... All Good... You are well liked for sure... :)

Thanks again,
Armand
