This is freakn great, I got home just in time to open it and catch the last bit of outdoor light. Thrill sent me the kydex, and a firesteel that throws some very good spark. I really like the retention idea on the firesteel. I really needed this too, I had a crappy thin leather thing that I used as a pocket sheath for my 11.

that will also hold an emergency smoke instead of a firesteel. LMAO

I just realized...my knot-tying SUCKS...I tied that quick&dirty to test the retention..then forgot to redo the knot later!
 
The number one goal for a knot... functionality and this one has it.
Thanks again, hope to get a little dirt time this weekend and this will definitely make the trip!
