Hey guys!!
Always wanted this blade, but just couldn't do it for over $200.
Knifecenter has them on sale for $139.......I want to say I jumped on that Chubby, but I won't!!!
What a little beast this knife is!! Feels fantastic in hand, locks up extremely tight, gorgeous grind and ludicrously super Spydie sharp!!
This thing is the epitome of cool!!

Yeah...I fell into one too because of the clearance price.

Not to mention the carbon fiber accents. ..

Haha! Congrats on the new knife dude! Hope you enjoy it! Remember to use discretion when pulling out your chubby, especially in public places!

Looks like a great deal. Always liked the looks of this knife. Maybe the clash of the Techno with XHP blade killed Chubby sales.

The name alone is worth 139...it is comedic gold...at least on the jr. high level...

But I'm failing to see the utility in the actual design of the knife...maybe skinning or caping?

For instance, how would this model be more useful than say, a LW Manix 2 ?

It's on clearance ? I'm getting one.

Yep. I picked one up for $135 from KW. I would never had paid $200 for this knife. I'm curious about it though, I never liked the techno and have owned three of them. Always end up selling them on the exchange. I hope the chubby has a thinner edge on it.

Let us know how it works out. I have been curious but not at $200. Now, it might be worth considering.

The edge itself has a very distinctive almost Ulu style shape. What really helped me pull the trigger is that the blade is hollow ground. My biggest issue with the techno is the thickness of the edge. The chubby uses thick blade stock as well but I hope the wide hollow ground blade will make this a slicer.

At $135, I'm willing to take the risk.
