My search is finally over. A lever action 12 gauge. Booyah! 6 shot, 20" barrel, 39.5" overall, and 8 pounds. Padaaaaw!

:D I didn't have much to do this evening. This pic does get me thinking about a holster. Paging Leatherman! :D

I have 97's and 12's but have been looking for an affordable 1901. The ones I've seen around here at the shows and on the web are typically $1k+ for one in barely acceptable shape. I'll keep looking. Have enough other toys to last five lifetimes!

I own pump shotguns and have been looking for an inexpensive lever action rifle. So... answer a question for the uninformed, please:

Where the heck the does the spent shell eject from??

(BTW - Silas, very cool gun!)

Eject out the top, reload from the top. A rolling block design with only about 7 parts I think. Really cool if you like John Browning designed firearms.

That is a beat!!!! I know next to nothing about lever action shotguns, but this makes me really want to find one. And yes....I'm curious too whether this is like Arnold's shotgun?

Yes, this is what Arnold used in T2. T2 came out in 1992 and that is when my search started. I'm not sure if Arnold used an original (Winchester model 1887) or a reproduction of one. I will admit that mine is an exact reproduction of one. It's made by Norinco. At one time I was all about AK-47s and the high majority of what I read showed Norinco as "one of" the best AK-47s that you could buy, let me know if I was led astray, so I figured it should be a nicely built one. From just handleing it it feels to be very well built with a very smooth working action. I would love to have an original but it would probably be a safe queen and I want one to use.

Thanks for all of the compliments.

When I first read the title, I thought you'd received a mail-order bride. :p

Nice shotgun!
