i got a gift card :D reccomendations?

so i got a $40 gift card to walmart in the mail as a (very) late Christmas present. i wanna get a knife there but I'm a bit hung up on which one i should get. i know they don't have much of selection at walmart but I've liked kershaw since i got my first ever knife when i was 18(nothing special, a kershaw vapor, it was decent though out of the box).

so which do you guys prefer? the od-1 or the skyline?

seems lots of people trade off their od-1's, what's up with that? that's why i'm iffy about it

I just got a skyline in trade a few days ago...im really impressed with it...although it wont see too much pocket time...

But its a pretty good blade...the flipper is awesome and it gets very sharp
 
The Skyline looks like it'd be a good utility knife, and when opened, has the safety of the flipper working as a guard. There's also the ability to choose between using a flipper and a thumbstud. In terms of aesthetics, I'm leaning towards the OD-1, as well as the use of a framelock, rather than liner.
 
i decided on the skyline, had it so far for a couple hours and i love the thing. came RAZOR sharp out of the box. ive never owned a knife with g10 handle scales before either, love them so much. i know lots of people say they aren't too grippy for g10 but i'm happy with them(feels nicer than the zytel or whatever they call it on my flash II).
