So my new benchmade torrent just arrived in the mail ... with lightning fast delivery such as knifeworks is always good for. So let me just say wow it is a truly beautiful blade the fit and finish is amazing everything sits perfectly flush and lined up ... solid lock up, and well centered blade. The nitrous system works flawlessly and has some serious oomph to it when the blade pops out and when opened there is absolutley no blade play in any direction ... the steigerwalt designed blade is well thought out and perfect for edc use ... and laser sharp ... i never thought i would find a knife that i would like more than the 732 ares i gave to my cousin when he went to war but this one is real close ... my only complait is that i shouldn't have gotten a knife that is so much fun to play with ... its gonna get me in trouble

Haha...the nitrous system. My 913 jumped outta my hand the first time i opened it so i know what you mean when you say oomph. Congrats BTW...
 
i think the nitrous system is a really good assisted opening mechanism. what can break?
 
the torsion bars are part of the inner liners, they are basically just slots machined into them ... that being said i believe the only "extra" part is the spacer between the torsion bars that actually makes contact with the blade ... so there is not much to break ... i do wish it had an axis lock but i like the overall design much more than the barrage ... so no axis lock for me
