I got a new job!!

I have been home for a weeks from Alaska, and have been job hunting ever since. Well, I had a job interview last Thurs., and I got offered the position. But, I told them that I needed to wait until after the interview today.

Well, I had my second interview today. I talked with the HR woman, and there is call, as well as working every other weekend. On top of that, they couldn't come close to the $$$$ that they other hospital offered me.

When I got out to my truck, I called the hospital that offered me the job. I spoke with the HR woman, and she said she had more good news for me!! They are offering me a large sign on bonus!! I was already stoked about the job. Susan (the HR woman), gave me the # of Occupational Health to call to set up my pre-employment physical, and she told me to call her back when I had my appointment. I called and made the appointment after I got off the phone with Susan. I will be having my pre-employment physical on July 1st, and will taking my badge picture and sign more paperwork on July 3rd.

There are no words to describe how grateful & blessed I feel today!!!

I do hope you mean July 1st and 3rd respectively, but congratulations on the new job.
 
Congrats,but I hope you mean July1st otherwise you missed it by a couple of weeks.

Way to go TKC!! Many congratulations. Very happy to hear that things are going well for you. All the best for you in your new job. How is your wrist healing by the way?

Yes, the wrist seems to be healing well. The Feldene that my Orthopod prescribed for me IS helping greatly!
