Hi Everybody,

I was able to pick up an old Battle Pappy

And man is it awesome.

Even came with one of the most beautifully Crafted Leather sheaths.

Very Very nice Chad.

Compared the handles with the DT-12.......pretty close.

Those things are Sick!!! I would really like one, eventually. What is the guard made out of? INFI? & yeah that Pirtle made sheath goes with it so well...perfection.
 
The pre-order for those was just before my interest in Busse was ignited, I remember when they started to be delivered and I was most jealous that I had not been around to be in the mix !!!!

Nice score mate!!! Amazing blade. I was fortunate enough to handle one of these at a Blade Show once upon a time, a demo only model. Instantly fell in love with it. So much so, I ordered one when they came out, and to this day over the last 15 years, it's the only Busse I have ordered that has gone 'missing' in the post. :mad: To whoever out there has this awesome knife, I hope you appreciate what you have.
 
I pull mine out from time to time. Sometimes, I have even thought about selling it. Then I just say no way, after holding it. Then I put it away.

Congratulations on one fine Bowie knife. It does not get much more American than that.
