So I pulled the trigger on a Street Beat just a minute ago. I've been leaning toward a fixed blade for a minute now and decided this was the route I wanted to go. I got the Micarta version and am very much looking forward to it. So, I now open it up to you guys. Tell me your experiences with the Street Beat. Likes/dislikes. Has anyone modded one? Post pics!

From my understanding, Perrin's designs are all about ergos. But I had the same experience about a year ago. I got to fondle one at a small brick and mortar shop in Ohio and was really captivated by the way it just locked into my grip. I'm just now finally getting around to picking one up. Been sleeping on it too long.

I'm a proud owner of the street beat.i absolutely love it.ergos are fantastic.it's a great small size fixed blade.love the sheath, the micarta handle is gorgeous,f&f is stellar, grip is comfortable in either standard or reverse grip.love the g- clip.we all know the quality of vg-10.couple passes on a SM or strope and it right back to hair popping sharp.you have made a great choice.enjoy pal!

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll carry. I don't usually carry a fixed blade but I'm thinking I want to give it a solid effort.

Misleading title..................I was expecting a bloody finger picture, or two :(
I glad you didn't cut yourself ;)

ZK, that's exactly what got me wanting to do it. You could totally say I'm jumping on the bandwagon.
