I just got a large regular in the mail today. Now I understand why some

CRK folks like them better than a 21 or a classic.I dont have a 21 but from

what Ive learned on the forum the handle and blade shapes are VERY

similar. I have 2 large classics.

I like the way the large Reg. feels in hand and the blade shape much

better than the classic and 21. What about you??

I like the blade profile on the reg and the classic...i like the looks of the classic handles better....i don't like the serrations on the lock bar of the reg.

I would luv a large classic with a flat grind and a polished blade.

Congrats on the Regular. I do like the Regular's blade profile more than the Classic/21. The biggest difference between the Regular's and 21's handles is not a big deal to me.

The Large Regular is my absolute favorite Sebenza.

I've been trying to pick up another one for awhile, but being left handed makes it an extremely difficult task. For the last couple months I've scoured the web trying to find one and it always turns out to be a dead end.

Maybe is this a really dumb comment of me, but did you try ebay? a few lefty sebenza`s there :)

The last one I found was on eBay, Sooner State Knives had a new one which I snapped up the same day. ;)

I'm really looking for another new one, but I'd consider a truly mint safe queen I've been checking eBay and other online sellers just about everyday. I've even placed a want to buy post in the Blade Forum Exchange.

You can find plenty of left hand Classics or 21's but Regulars are a lot harder to find.

Thanks Rickster I did see that one I'm just not into the serration thing, even if I were odds are I'd call them up and they wouldn't have it in stock anyway.

You'd be surprised just how many times I've called someone regarding the left hand Large Regular Sebenza they've listed on their webpage only to receive this reply. Sorry we're out of stock on that item, but we've just placed an order with CRK and should have some in a few weeks. LMAO if I could get a new one in a few weeks from CRK I wouldn't be wasting my time calling everyone. :jerkit:

Congrats on your new Sebenza. I don't know why but I've always like the Classic better than the Regular. But any Sebenza is better than no Sebenza!!!

WOW good score. I had been on a serious grail quest for one. I finally gave up and got the 21. I really like it but the regular is better. I hope they make them again.

I think the Reg is far more attractive but I think the 21 is a more comfortable and more useful knife. JMO!

I like the classic and the 21 way over the regular. I think CRK made the right move by dropping the regular to the yearly "overpriced" models. That gives the fanatics a chance to put their money where their mouths are and gave average folks the freedom to buy a better profile knife at a more sensible price. Better world for everyone. :)

Just kidding. Well, not really. If one had to go, I'm glad it was the regular and if one HAD to be made into the yearly "overpriced" model, I'm glad it was the regular. This way, I'm not missing out on either count as I don't like the regular. But my first reply, while unrefined and offensive are spot on, albeit unrefined and offensive. :) Cheers.

Noob alert...

I knew about the classic and 21, but what's a regular and how does it fit into the trio?

Edit: Looked around, got answers.

Can someone that has all three post up side by side comparison pics of both the slabs and the "standard" blade shape?
