Didn't like the skinny ASH but Love the 3B2!

I think it's the blade shape looks to be the same thickness.

Did we ever get specs?

Pics are with REGULAR ASH1 (NOT a skinny)

Specs? Yeah, they are like that one. ROTFL!

Looks like a tall front guard/talonhole, shorter blade, hand-shaped handles. Interesting blade to be sure. I bet it's quicker in the hand now, too.

That is awsome! I got two of those and can't wait to get my HOGGY hands on them! Camo blade is cool anyway you look at it, but these are incredible Ash1s... Is that a fat ash beside it or a skinny? it looks like there is almost a ramp on the upper blade infront of the handles for a thumb rest.. how does it feel in the hand? Great score!

Added some pics

Didn't even notice the tall front guard/talonhole.
The blade looks to be the same length but thinner
The handles are smooth but regular thickness. That may have been what I did not like about my skinny it had the thin blade but Mag handles, although I like this blade shap much better feels more like my SHe.
I wish they were regular hand-shaped handles.
Definatly quicker in the hand.

I wish I got 2 :D
The finish seems more durable too.
It's a fat/regular ash in the pics and there is a little thumb ramp.
Real nice in the hand

ah AKAdave2, these 3B2s came from the Vetganzaa on NOV 11.. they were a special military overrun only available at the time of the Ganzaa. I'm you'll see some come up for sale on the forums soon.. for about ........... $1,000 each :-)

Man I should have got one of those!
That is micarta, right? If it is I really wish I had.

Great looking knife and pics:thumbup:

Will we ever know what the 3B2 stands for???

what dose 3b2 stand for?

Purely a guess on my part, but being as this is part of a mil overrun, there's a decent chance that it's a tribute to the Betio Bastards of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines.

Carry on, Devil Dogs.

Im telling you this is one sweet blade - It has everything you could want in one package!

And again - it reminds me a lot of the early badgers - perhaps a little bigger but very similar lines :):thumbup::thumbup:
