Received my "Sendero" model today from Mr Fisk! It's every bit as awesome as I expected. Got it with a chisel ground clip and a double guard. It's very slim, perfect to carry for "protection" although that excuse won't get me far with the police. Luckily, I'm in a combat zone right now, I don't think anyone will bother me about it! Thanks again Mr Fisk.

Post a picture if you can. I have a Sendero on order as well, but I am about 1 1/2 to 2 years away from getting mine.

Whit, I would love to see a picture of it if that is possible. What handle material did you choose on your Sendero? I have a Sendero on order and a 3.7 year wait. Big D1

It is always good to see worthy blades being carried as intended. Enjoy the knife and keep safe. I wish you a speedy return to the North Country :)

I'll try to post a picture on here, hopefully tomorrow. It has a curly maple handle, a nickel silver guard, and a great sheath by Kenny Rowe.

I purchased the first knife of this new configuration of the Sendero from Jerry last month. He calls this model the "Gumbyahha" which translates from Portuguese something like "use what you have". He also calls it the Sendero PC, or Personal Carry. The Gumbyahha will be featured in an upcoming article in BLADE on this type of knife and others like it. The chisel ground clip is razor sharp. Jerry says it will "slice a ham so thin the inlaws won't come back next Christmas!"

After going back to Mr Fisk's webpage, I realized that the "Gumbyhanna" is indeed what I have! Shows what I know! Looking forward to the article in Blade. That picture is coming, really.

You got number 2 of that model. The upcoming article as I understand it will also include, Dean, Fitch, JW Randall, Flournoy and Mike Williams that are also doing approx 4 inch bladed personal carries [PC's]. It looks like this may be the new trend this style/type of knife.

I am guessing early summer. We are all supposed to have the knives to them to photo by Feb 15 and they normally run a couple of issues behind. Interesting guys doing this. Dean and Flournoy are both solid been in business a long time and have won many awards for their work. The rest are up and comers they are doing great work at good prices. We had all been talking and it seems without the others knowing about it we had all come up with models that fit the same bill. Kinda like a ground swell movement toward the same goal.
