My Glock 78 arrived today and I am happy that my yearning for a decent fixed blade has been fulfilled. I paid about $30 for it online, and it is quite the knife for the money. I needed a knife that I can sort of beat on at work, and I think that this will fit the bill. Fit and finish is not particularly good, considering that the tip is pretty rounded and finish is a tad uneven, but I was pleasantly surprised that the knife came sharp enough to cut paper. Dullness is a common complaint about these knives, but mine was pretty good out of the box, although a few minutes on the Sharpmaker greatly improved that. The injected-molded sheath is pretty good as well, capable of both IWB and OWB carry. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Nice knife! Enjoy it! :thumbup:I have one. Very tough steel, not very hard and wear resistant, but, anyhow, easy to resharp and it take a keen edge (I changed a little bit the grind, with a diamond stone). The handle and the sheath are fine, entire knive is light but very sturdy. By the way, does anyone what carbon steel is? They say it's spring steel, 55 HRC

I have heard that it is 1095.
