the RAMP rides out of your pocket..its for catching BGs, pinching, pressure point striking and of course tomahawking!
It does not eat pockets..REALLY
its better in its custom breakaway Kydex sheath from SKUNKWORKS...

It is for a kinetic style of opening where you can actually use your opponents body to open the knife. By more the knife forward the ramp can engage a part of their body and by continuing the motion the knife will open. You can also use the pointy part to tap pressure points, pinch and to scrape. You should see my arms when Bram is done with me

Frank, what exactly means "GUNTING"?
I know you have explained this numerous times but I can't find the explanation this moment.

The knife looks awesome, the concept is clever as well. Was Bram involved with the REKAT Escalator? If I remember correctly, it had a simiiiar blade shape.

Bram is behind both the Escalator and Gunting.

Sergiusz, when I did FMA a long time ago, I think I remember the term "gunting" referring to "limb destruction" moves, where an opponent's fist or soft tissue end up meeting the hard pointy end of your elbow, or something like that. Likewise, the opponent's fist, soft tissue, pressure points, etc., might meet the ramp or handle-end of the knife, presumeably resulting in even more effective limb-destruction type effects.

Yeah, in Indonesian too. In Pencak Silat that I learn, 'gununting' (verb) generally refers to a certain 'scissor motion.' The word 'gunting' (noun) itself means 'a pair of scissors.'
