I got my Gunting & Trainer. Hooray!!!!!

The man in the brown truck pulled up yesterday with my Gunting and Trainer yesterday and I have a sore thumb from opening and closing them so much. The lock on the trainer stuck and I couldn't close it, but after playing with it a while I got it broke in ok. I am really liking these knives. I need to get a sheath for these soon. Thanks Bram and Spyderco.

I must say I sure am glad you FINALLY got your Gunting. I almost broke down and shipped you a pair of mine to hold you over.

I hope they are all you expected, you've waited long enough. For gods sake don't cut your leg opening it.....remember????

The piece is well made, very strong and should hold up well.

It's difficult combining a new concept in design with a new concept in locks with a "life on the line" responsibility for the manufacturer.

Hey Bram, I already learned my lesson with the Rekat Escalator that I picked up at the Blade Show last year. These things can really hurt you can't they? I did get a trainer also so that is the only one I am playing with. I keep the black handle one in my pocket for the real action

Luckily I got mine in the nick of time. I was just about to crack! This knife is awesome and is one of the sharpest knives I have ever owned straight out of the box. I am enjoying opening it on everything, except my leg of course.
