I got my Ratweiler.

And all I can say is... wow. This is one bad mamma jamma. I will get some pics up if I can at some point today, but if you want to snag a quick peek, I got the Knob Creek urban camo Ratweiler (liberated it from a hog )... , as seen in the 'look what's going to be at Knob Creek' thread, the one in the lower right in the pic there.

Got it put into a Spec-Ops Brand 'Survival' sheath, but had to remove the kydex lining to make it fit. The kydex just wouldn't give enough. So, as it goes without saying, this can't be a permanent sheath, but it will get me by for now. I think i will drop Semper Paratus tactical an email shortly...

Of course, I bought it from another feller on the boards here, as opposed to ordering it from the store. And yes, I paid extra for express shipping, so i could be sure to have it before i take off for Canada on Monday.

I'm surprised no one has posted this yet, but the Spec Ops will work with the Ratweiler, but the liner has to be moulded. SARHound is the expert. Check his posts in this thread.

Awesome info, thanks cdyer! I actually have access to a heat gun at work, may pack the rat with me tonight and give that a shot. Might be a little easier to control than the toaster oven method.
