I've got my new son-in-law hooked on Busse knives:thumbup: He was hesitant to use the new Boss Jack I gave him for Christmas, but he finally gave in and used it to slit the neck of his first alligator...

Hey Russ...wish I could have been there when he got it. From what I understand, they are very hard to kill and it took him several shots with a bow before he could get him in the boat where he could use the Boss Jack to finish him off. Next time...hope I'm there to help

Bow hunting a gator, that must be pretty tricky. Gator targets at 3D shoots are hard enough, I can only imagine how hard they are when they're alive.

But that's good he got him, eat the tasty thing, and make a sheath for the Boss Jack out of him too

Agreed. I hate coming up to the gator on a 3D course. Those targets have cost me a lot of arrows.

A sheath made out of a gator that you got yourself would be awesome. Would be a great way to always remember that hunt.
