I got a BM722 and a CRKT Carcajou today. The 722 is very nice, although the screws on the clip are all ugly (the paint/coating, whatever on the screws are all chipped off and looks half bear, the metal). Still need to move the clip so it's lefty, but I don't have the right sized torx bits to do it.


How/where do you carry a fixed blade/sheathed knife, I don't want it on my belt, as I may have a LM or something on it already.

As a head's-up, it takes a #6 Torx to remove and re-install the clip screws from the BM 722.

Nice toys you got! :D

Where to carry a fixed blade depends on how big it is, to some extent. You could wear it IWB, that is, Inside the WaistBand. You could wear it IWB SOB, which is IWB at the Small Of the Back. You could also wear it on some sort of shoulder harness or under the arm or tucked in a boot. I do not recommend tucked in a boot -- uncomfortable and hard to reach.

I would be happy to help you out with that clip situation if you would provide travel arrangments for me. One way will be fine. ;)
