We are very fortunate to have some excellent sheath makers here on the Busse forum; over the years I have been fortunate enough to purchase sheaths from many of them, and I have posted about them in several threads here on the forum. To continue with that trend, I just got a new pair of leather pants for my DS8, so I decided it was time to take a family picture with all of the leatherwork I have from
Azula Gun Holsters
.
In all honesty, I was a little hesitant to purchase my first sheath from him because I typically like more of a drop than his sheaths have. I sent him a DM about his sheaths and expressed my concern, but he suggested that I give it a try with his standard loop length, and if I didn't like it then he would make it right for me. Long story short, I'm glad that I went with his advice! The sheath is incredibly lightweight, the retention is perfect, and it stays in place on my hip without banging around. It's almost as if the sheath dissappears on my hip (the Dog Soldier's NOT the Hognose of course). Needless to say, I'm super impressed with his sheaths and holster. I know that this thread is worthless without pics, so here you go!
