A big THANK YOU!! goes out to Les Robertson, and Steve of Extreme Outfitters for my new toys that arrived today.
I'm in awe of the workmanship of the CQC6, because it is handmade I expected to see uneven lines...boy was I wrong!!!

Thanks to Steve for the push to have the SOCFK made. Both are such lovely knives. I was especially impressed by the spear point which has now become my current carry utility
knife.

Here are some pics. please bear with me I'm still trying to figure out how to maximise the use of the digital video camera.

Firstly..I have medium sized hands. Most folders fit me comfortably.

The SOCFK (IMHO) seriously fits me perfectly.
A lovely touch is the serrated scales behind the Wave and in front of the rear notch.
I have always been in favour of the front forward notch. I have an original BM 970 and have found that in situation when one is thrusting there is always a likelihood of your hand moving forward onto the blade(I personally know of a ex-Marine that it happened to).
The deep finger groove and gentle rise of the Wave has a natural "feel" that one does not feel the need for a finger choil to choke up on the blade for precision cutting.
The thumb disc is might to close to the front finger notch when attempting to open with the disc..it's a snug fit. The Wave is an excellent addition althought I would have preferred it to be a bit longer/not so close to the handle, rather more like the Commander.
The SOCFK is a fraction smaller than the Commander and the Spearpoint does not look as
menacing as the Commander's blade profile(IMO).
The Commander is/has been my back-up weapon , I alway felt like carrying one of my small Sebenza's as a general utility knife. But with the new SOCFK....the Spearpoint in particular (IMHO) I feel I can use it as a utility without drawing to much attention to myself as well as a great defensive tool.
In reverse ice pick grip the front finger notch really secures your hand.
SOCFK are lovely knives....

(Please forgive me if any of the blade terminology is incorrect...I hope you understand what I have been trying to say)
