I placed an order a while back with KME and got some of their new product's.
I got their $160.00 Chosera Stone set and a 3 pack of their Gold Series Hones as well for $63.95,I also got 4 Micron and .5 Micron Diamond paste and 2 Strops as well and Ron was nice enough to throw in a set of their newer and longer jaws that hold the blade.
I found the Chosera Stones to work extremely well and I found that when I got to the 10.000 Grit the edge was Bur free and would cut paper without tearing at all the knifes edge just glided threw it like a hot knife threw butter.I know from what I have read a lot of guys on the net think the Chosera Stones are olny good for sharpening kitchen Knives and I can tell you this is not true as I used them on a cheap Kershaw pocket knife and other knives as well including kitchen knives and found they were all much sharper then I have ever gotten them.
KME has changed from the DMT Diamond Hones to another company that makes Jeweler's Hones and from what Ron told me the new Gold Series Hones last a lot longer then the DMT Hones,I know some people have complained a bit about DMT Diamond Hones and although they are not crap they are just not anywhere near as good as the Gold Series Hones,I also noticed the Gold Series Hones cut a lot faster then any of my DMT Hones I got from Ron when I got my KME system.
The Strops worked really well and increased sharpness,I did not notice and more sharpness when I jumped from the 4 Micron to the .5 Micron
I also found that when using the new jaws that KME has come out with allows you to hold a knife that is more narrow and there is more clearance,it also allows you to sharpen a knife at a lower angle then you used to be able to with the KME system.
I did not see the new jaws on there website but I'm Ron would be happy to sell them if asked, also the new jaws will fit all KME Systems as it is olny the jaws that have been changed and not the handle itself.
Here are a few Pic's of the new Stones I got and the new jaws being compared to the old ones.
