The other day on another thread I made a comment about maybe getting a 20"AK by Sher. Well, Uncle come in with his;"I have this special..." line that he does. So I told him to send it on if it was that special. Well this shouldn't shock anyone, but it is that special. 20" weighing in at 40ozs with a horn handle. It is strange in a way. I have a two 18" AKs, one by Sher and one by Amtrak, and they are both large and heavy knives. This thing is a beast. When in hand it gets moving with no effort. Depsite being blade heavy it moves fairly well, but once it gets going it is like a force of nature. I pity anything that it chops. I love it and can't wait to get to use it, on what I have no idea given that I think that it would chop straight through most things that I would try to chop. SO if Uncle Bill says he has a special whatever I for one will believe him.
It looks like a wonderful piece!
