Went to a sporting goods store which is over 30 minute drive one way and I'm glad I did. I could have ordered the item I was wanting via internet and have it delivered to my front door in two days for a little bit more money but it was worth the cost of gas. Looking at the Buck knives in person is way better then starring at them online for it gave me a different perspective on the size they are and there are more EDC pocket size knives then I thought.

I apoligize for the bad photos but it was the first time I used a cell phone camera and wasn't even sure they were saved. One good thing about blister packs is that all the knives have been cleaned before packaging unlike some of the knives you get in the boxes.

I got to handle the AG 110 with s30v and found it had a nice even cutting edge on it and was very sharp.

Sooooo, which one did you bring home?? :)

Unfortunately I came home with only a field sharpener this time. I got there 45 min before closing and I wasn't finished looking at all the displayed knifes and one I have been interested in which is by a different company wasn't on display so I plan another visit sometime soon and maybe grab me a Ostrich sandwich from their deli. I did do a double take on the Alpha Dorado with 12C27Mod Sandvik. The salesman showed his EDC which was a Buck Cadet 0303BKS-B and a guy in a dress suit bought a Buck 300 series China knife from him.

It is Cabelas, nobody else can sell the AG series.Unfortuneately ,I don't buy knives packed in clamshell packs,I f i can't hold the knife in my hand ,i don't buy it.I don't buy internet knives either anymore.I like a knife i can take out of a cardboard box and handle before laying down the money.

Yep. It extablished fer sure. It a cabela's alrite. Nobody else got a ostrich meat sangwidge.

I 100% agree with you as I like to store my buck knives and in the boxes they came in. clamshell is just junk. Boxes also have dates on them.
