and I'm diggin' it. I finally managed to get my first ZT knife, a 0350. I've handled them before, at SMKW, in other peoples possession, but never had one of my own.

Talk about a tank of a folder. :D It has garnered much attention from the lads at work, with the usual "Oooo's" and "Ahhh's", but they all say, "I need to get one of those". :D

I'm "The Knife Guy" at my job ( go figure, right?), so when I come in on Monday's with a smile, and saggin' pants, they know somethings up.

I been carrying this little thunder blade since Sunday, and I don't think it gonna be leaving my pocket anytime soon. Mostly, because I like the action on the assist. My fingers are sore from flippin', closing, flippin', closing, and so on. That "Thwack" is an awesome sound.

Now, I'm setting my sights on its greener big brother, the ZT0301. If this little guy is this bada$$, I can't wait to get me the "big'un".

Just wanted to share. Thanks guys. And Thanks Kershaw, nothing like seeing USA on my blade. Gets a smile everytime.

Congrats on a great blade Moose. I carried mine today as well. Its is one heck of a knife. It snaps open with authority and feels like a folding prybar. And to top it all off, the blade coating is really durable. I have been using mine to cut up cardboard boxes and stuff at work and when I finish I can rub the scuffs off and looks good as new. I'm trying to work on a review comparing it to the Para 2 and Buck Vantage Force Pro. Hopefully I can finish that up and get it posted by this weekend.

Peace,
JD

I can't believe you, of all people, would start with the wimpy version ;)
looks like a great knife. i bet it outlives you, too,

Do you like the recurve on that blade?

I don't like a recurve on any blade, but this guy is growing on me. I tend to shy away, just for the fact of sharpening is a pain. I can do it, and do it well, it just takes more, um, patience? I guess.

But, for a knife this solid, I'll put my disliking of recurves aside, and just enjoy the knife. Which I am. :D

You would be happy with any of the other offerings in that style (0300's, maybe even an 0200 flipper).
I've been carrying a recurved blade so long now I have to take time when sharpening my Speedform. lol

:D, I hear ya. I like big knives, I like American knives, so, Big American knives are a big hit with me. I just like the looks of that 0301. Dunno why, but I do.

I used to have a half round diamond hone, that was marvelous with recurves. I don't remember who made it, or where I got it, but I really liked it.

I've been wanting a ZT for quite a while, so after seeing your post Moose, I just had to pull the trigger and order my first one (ZT 0350). I'm really looking forward to seeing how it performs.

By the way, what kind of abuse do you all put your ZT through (camping, hunting, etc)?

Very nice!
Got into Kershaw just recently, and now I'm already thinking of getting a ZT next!

Maybe I'm going to have to get the 0350!
