I ordered some orange g10 handles from Dale at TKC. :-) it's kinda like the feeling of having a brand new knife in the mail... And from knowing Dale's process, I've already gotten the 2nd email :thumbup: will update with developments and a review :cool:

They came in!!! Picked them up this morning after work (night shift) and just had to put them on! Who needs sleep anyways ;-) I'll let the pics do the talking.

First impressions are very good... It kinda makes the 4 feel solid like the 6... Fit and finish is perfect!

Yes they are. I just got a set of orange dale scales for my 4 monday, a late christmas present. i installed them, and it does make the feel of the 4 a lot better (to me). Guarantee you are gonna like them.
 
They are awesome. (see my avatar)

I think they make the 4 feel better balanced.

Might have to try a set on one of my 3's soon.

Nice man! Is there any use for the micarta after you replace it with the g10? Would they fit on a non-micarta-handled knife...?

The micarta scales will fit other 3's and 4's from the ESEE line. Not sure about other brands of knives.
 
Grats man,

Dale's Scales are great. I ordered my ESEE-4 with a set. It's just a great and versatile grip.
