That does look like the finish came off easily. Hopefully I'll find out soon enough on my own.
This is what I was thinking. Wish they had done the blades then added handles after the fact. Still no info listed on the handle materials for someis steel under the tang cerakoted? i'm a big fan of cerakoted knives but not the handle. it comes off as they didn't wan to put the effort of cerakoting the blade and putting a handle material. and i have questions regarding their process of coating. if done right, it shouldn't come off easily like the picture above.
