I gotta have a mini commander

I just handled a commander for the first time this weekend. WOW! What a nice knife. It is just a little too big for me. So I figure I have to get a mini.

To those who have handled them, how do the mini c's feel in the hand, compared to their full sized brethern. I think the grip on the Commander "fits" my hand, and was wondering just how different the smaller grip conforms.

I handled one today at the outdoor retailer show. Very slick knife. The ergonomics are not that much different from the normal commander. Just seems like a slightly smaller package. Blade shape is a little different, or perhaps it just seems that way.

One difference I noticed - the grooves at the bottom of the handle. What are those for? Reverse grip?

Seems like a winner, I'll have to get one when they come out.
