Jim Batson called me the other day and asked me if I wanted to make the 2004 journeyman smith auction knife for the ABS. Of course, I said, "Y-Y-Yes". Also of course, I didn't sleep a wink that night thinking about different combinations of steel, brass, copper, wood, stag, ivory, ect. ect. I need to have it ready by the Blade Show 2003. Oh my, I think I have to go down to the shop now.
