That's the description from Katz's website. Not sure what makes it a ninja point. I'm guessing it has to do more with a terrible marketing idea than anything else. Cool knife otherwise. Certainly not something you see every day.

What do you use the ninja hoo...gut hook for?

You're supposed to attach a ninja lanyard and swing it at your opponent. The hook will snag them for sure.

The knife maker/model is the Katz Kagemusha, "secret ninja"

A very nicely done, well made knife with awesome action, despite the silly name.
The gut hook for me will be used to cut open plastic wrapped bundles.

The marketing I am seeing is unappealing but it does seem a fairly decent knife the steel appears to be a proprietary 440C equivalent.
