I guess I'm done with Buck for awhile

Nothing left for me to buy. Just about everything that I've wished Buck would come out with , they have this year. I wished with all the variations available on the 110, that they would just add a pocket clip option. Nothing fancy, just a pocket clip option (not make the pocketclip standard ) on a brass and wood 110 would do..........check. Not only did they do that, but bone handle and I swear this is the sharpest most perfect grind that I have ever gotten on a knife from any brand. It almost seems like they made a mistake and there is no way that this is really 420hc. Then I have always said to just bring back the Bucklite, and they did that too with more variations on the way. I think the only other thing I have hoped for was a 300 series jack knife or bring back a 300 series trapper and I hear they are upgrading the factory and this could be a possibility?
But in all seriousness, Buck really seems to be listening to their customers. Some people might not like a pocket clip on a 110, but I'm sitting in the AC on a 100 degree day on a computer so I'm not going to knock a small luxury like a pocket clip. I like to try to carry a 110 as much as I can and for the first time canoeing, I was able to take one along clipped to my swim trunks and was out wading and fishing and in and out of the canoe all day. Try putting a regular 110 without a pocket clip in your swim trunks where I live, and you are probably going to jail. :)

So this is a complete turn around from what I was expecting to read...lol Usually "I'm done w/ Buck" means one is taking their ball and going home pouting about how they're disappointed.

But you've gotten everything you've asked for, and your done? I think you should ask for more! Forget about the "quit while you're ahead". You're on a roll, keep it going! Seriously...

I guess I'm lucky because my Buck journey is barely started.
Buck really does seem to be listening to their customers, and keeping keeping them satisfied.

I dig the 110 with the pocket clip. Before I would of thought that was a horrible thing to do. But Now..... I think its great.

Yes, please. And wood handles would be nice.

Wow! I sure do hope that buck does come out with a few year end aces to fill the disappointment.
Agree that clips are a nice addition for the entire line of buck folders to keep one busy yearlong :-)

I think I’m with jec88 and don’t have plans to purchase many more Bucks.

Fortunately for me I only collect folders. While I still enjoy looking about I think my collection Is good for now. My favorites are 532’s, anything Sambar stag, model tang stamped 300 series and BG42 stamped 110’s. I also like collecting the SK Blades offerings. That said I recently ordered a BCCI ironwood aluminum 30th 110 so we will see how long this decision to not add to my collection lasts..

But I just read about a new Buck 112 Auto coming out, and the new Buck 112 LT......!!

Guys, I was tongue in cheek when I posted that title............. I'll have to get a 112 LT now. Buck just seems to be coming out with everything people on the forums have been asking for. They have really stepped it up in 2018 in my opinion.

I hope they got the QC on the Spitfire right. I'm fortunate in that the 2 I have are great, but have heard in the past that they can be pretty bad out of the box.
They should also offer it with S35 more. I got one from Copper and Clad with S35, only complaint is the coated blade. Started carrying it and after 6 months, still deadly sharp. Best 60 bucks ever spent on a knife by me.

I read the title and figured you bought a 110 and the blade was off center.
Blade off center on a 110?!
Shirley you jest! I ain't not never heard of such a thing!:p:D

I still say the Buck 110 is the best locking folder on the market, even if the blade isn't perfectly centered. :)
Not that I've measured any, but I doubt few, if any folding knife has a perfectly centered blade(s).
Even those that are accused of having such are probably off by a few thousandths to millionths of an inch.:rolleyes::)
