Went to Sonic today to get a couple of the Blasts, a grilled Chicken sandwich and some diet coke which are all things that my wife and I love to splurge on now and then. While there I'm sittting at the speaker with my window up until I'm ready to order until I want to push the button because its so hot right now.. Roll my window back up after ordering and wait like everyone else. A few minutes go by so in the mean time I'm listening to a CD I have that I made with some songs I downloaded from I Tunes that my son turned me on to. Train was the group.

Anyway, the girl comes out to bring me my stuff and I roll down my window. Now keep in mind that in the time since I ordered another car of teens has pulled up. While the girl is handing me my stuff I hear a guy in the back seat over next door say, "hey that old man over there is jamming!"

Guess thats it then. By the way for you youngsters out there. Just because we belong to the AARP and have gray hair doesn't mean we don't occasionally listen to music and perhaps for some that lose a bit of hearing we even do it loudly. ;) If you want to call it jamming thats ok I guess but I think my generation called it rockin' though. :D

Did you get your senior citizens discounts on the drinks? Man, I have save enough over the years to buy a couple of customs on the forums.:D:D:D:D

Get my first (early) Canada Pension cheque this week. Already blew half on a new Dozier:D:D:D. Played Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble, full volume, all the way home from the knife shop:thumbup:.

It started for me bout 2yrs ago. Instead of gettin a "dude" or "hey guy", I got an elderly sounding "mister." Some don't know/ever heard of 8 track, or 45's.

Weirdest to me is I'm somewhat familiar with genre older than I ( say some 50's), but seems like kids nowadays don't know anything 10 yrs before they were conceived. Strange I think...

I recently grew a Van Dyke beard, and what do ya know--got some grey in it. After I noticed, I went out to the car and overcompensated by playing a Ramones CD at max volume.

I stopped growing my beard when the hairs started coming out gray in spots but now its more than just:eek: spots. Used to be a dark red color when I was younger. That was bad enough but gray is not a good color on me. Like I look in the mirror at all anymore these days. I can have a smudge on my face and not know it until my wife tells me about it. :D

But as for my hair, heck, its gray everywhere now, even on my chest! My head hair is all gray. I never know just how much its turned until I get it cut and see it on the floor. Then it really shows for some reason.

Hmmm.

I'd have to say ... you are NOT alone. Sad, ain't it!???

Errr.. what is wrong with being old?

STR, tried emailing you through the function on your profile and it may not have gone through. Do you have a direct email for me to contact you?

Thanks - Jeff
