Who is freaking out waiting on the ASH2?!? This is the knife I've been waiting for Busse to make since 06! It looks like the perfect knife for me, big enough to chop but not so heavy and bulky that it becomes a nuisance :thumbup: I've noticed though that there doesn't seem to be much excitement around here for this particular release, maybe I'm missing something?? Anyway, can't wait for this one :D:D:D
 
There is, but knowing that it is some months away from delivery tempers it..... that and I have been really busy out working my corner to pay for all the steel I have ordered so far this year...!!
 
I'm with you. Should fill the medium :D size blade niche I've been looking for.
 
Having handled the prototype at Blade, I'm VERY excited about the ASH-2!!! But as Andy said, knowing that it will be a while for shipping tempers the excited waiting!;):thumbup:

That is truly a depressing thought :(:( I haven't been this excited for a Busse since the FBM realeased in 2006 lol
 
I think it's a little early to start freaking out. You need to pace yourself. You've still got another two months or so.
 
I would be more excited on this one if I did not have three original SHSH2'S in the collection. Two unmarred, and one user. Think it is a great addition to the line up, but I collect the older models. Have to draw the parameters somewhere, eh? Can't let some Australian chap snag ALL of the ASH1's, right?...;-)
 
I am very excited about mine, but don't mind the wait for whatever reason! Just make it all the sweeter when it comes in.

Yikes, what choice do I have then? I have been away from Busse and the forum for awhile so I don't have a feel for things like I did. Used to be everything was "2 weeks" but I under the assumption these recent offerings are being released differently? Please correct me if I'm wrong?
 
It was something like 13 weeks on my BG ADs. I ordered a Battle Saw on October 15, and my credit card hasn't been charged yet for that, or any of the stuff I ordered after that. And I'm guessing that with these weekly offerings, the wait times are only going to get longer.
