My names Springy (for further information, refer to my sig line)

I've been on here a little while, posting all sorts of ridiculously idiotic stuff but I haven't formally said Hi.
Uhm.. Hi. I found this place when I was googling BK2 sheath mods, found Warriors masterpiece and well, just never really left.

Would just like to say that this place is absolutely awesome. You guys have been very welcoming and the stuff I've learned from you all has helped me a great deal.. to become hopelessly addicted. And poor. I did have a brief meander into other forums here but basically I bounce between here and the KABAR forum.

I love my Beckers, and have a lot of plans for them (wanna really make em mine) but the biggest being to get out and use the living snot out of them. Got a very wide, brown, hot and bitey (yes, I said bitey) land over here in Straya and its a lot of fun getting out there. Pity we're not legally allowed to carry our knives. Won't stop me though :D

Anyway, love all you folks, and I look forward to spouting more rubbish soon.. Springy..

Oops, almost forgot the obligatory Becker shot (plus a couple of Kabars)



(This is my steadily growing family. The wife has laid claim to a few of these though :D)

Ooh almost forgot, I just want to say thanks to Uncle E for making the. Best. Darn. Knives. EVER.

And thanks Semper, I appreciate it. You are good folks around here that's for sure. On a side note, it sounds like Warrior set that thread up as a trap. Wonder how many other unsuspecting flies he caught with his honeypot of doom?

Glad you've stayed around. And, you have a VERY nice collection!! (a little too clean for my taste tho :P) I had a similar experience with this subforum. It's addictive, informative and half-retarded. Wouldn't want it any other way

The only regret I have is not signing up 2 years when these forums convinced me to get a BK2, then lurked around until this year. Never got to the meat of things thru google, that's where it's at man...good peeps.
 
Thanks Dan. Appreciated. You are certainly right though, they're way to clean. Gotta filthy em by laying waste to something.. anything. They just want to be used! Just wish the ungodly cloud of mozzies would finally bugger off so I can go camping..

Yeah I hear ya Slice. Franky I was astounded that I didn't actually assume there would be other people out there that liked these knives as much, if not more, than I do. Had my BK2 for ages before I found BF. Dammit I could be a Beckerhead by now!

BTW where is the pole that you are chained to located? ........ Any chance you can make a gathering or Blade?........ Mr. B it would truly be an honour to meet you, alas however, I'm on the other side of the lake in Australia. Stoopid Pacific ocean. I would dearly love to get to a gathering or a show, that would be absolutely fantastic. I've read the threads and they look like a blast. If I ever get the chance I will be plastering my impending arrival ALL over this place that's for sure!

Thanks man, it was fun to make. Working on yet another BK2 project at the moment. Nothing huge, but I like it so far.

Well you'll always have a place to stay here Uncle E! Can't guarantee much shelter under a pole though :D

Look forward to seeing it Warrior. If it's even half as cool as that striped and clipped 2 then it's going to be solid. Dang I love me a clip point. Always love your work..

Gotta admit, Warrior's creativity has inspired me many a time. Dude has an eye for what most people would consider.......well, badass, for lack of a better word. Think the stripes he put on his 2 (i think) is what compelled me to start modding my Beckers.

Oh, and don't forget to post picks of those blades once you bang 'em up a bit.
