Anyway, I don't have another like it. Schrade Cutco Walden NY.
Too bad about the pen blade; I'll have to pretend it's a short coping blade.

I don't know what the extra cuts are for on the beer opener. Maybe the square one is for an early type of fuel gas tank?
The wood they're sitting on is from a different sale. It's maple about a year old, about 3x7x23 inches. A 90-year old man cut and milled the tree by himself last summer. I look forward to collaborating with him in my small way by turning it into many knife handles.

Nice find. I got one just like that recently, and I had never seen one like it before either.

Nice churchkey!

Nice find! She has lots of life left in her. Nice slab of maple and I can't wait to see the handles that come to life

That is the R7664 3/4B pattern, wharncliffe handles style. Came out in 1936. Fun to stumble across an oldie at a garage sale.

Thanks, guys.
The axe is from a different sale the same day. I liked the guy selling it and it has a stamp I don't have- BEN HUR, of all things.
I 'll have to whittle at a corner of that maple and see if the grain would be livelier cut at an angle.
Thawk, thanks for the ID. Even though I forgot to mention its 3 1/16" length.
