So i went to every manufacturers forum at BF and tried to pump up the balisong. The Guys at Emerson are still mocking me, and one guy at REKAT is personaly offended i brought the issue up at all. But, there is good news!

First, I found out Spyderco did produce a prototype bali of sorts, but at this time has no addmited plans to fo into production. A start is a start, right?

Even better though, is this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum56/HTML/000003.html. Delta-Z might make us all proud (or terribly, terribly dissapointed: as yet to be determained)!

For now, Afee here sighning off, to continue the quest for the American Bali.

I'll run BS&SMS recon missions, and while they dazzle the crowds, I'll run from table to table, credit card blazing. You might be a sniper, but I'm sentry removal and small arms. Oh yes, Outdoor Edge, as they are only an importer, are a no go. We'll see who is next...

(Oh yes, i am currently unemployed and have outstanding bills for a new, yet undelivered 42 and a yet to be relesed pre-ordered 42a, so if any time was good to leave the country or hit the road show circuit, now is it. I have my bag packed, and eagerly await my orders)

Delta-z makes sort of a pen-flip knife device. If they arent afraid to make look alike stuff like this, then a bali shouldn't be a big deal. Don't know about their quality of product however.
