I "hacked" my second SAK....

I've gotten fed up with my Buck Metro keyring knife, so i decided to replace it with something more functional and *better*....

i went to my sporting goods store and compared the two keyring SAK's , Wegner Esquire and Vic. Classic, the Wenger won out due to the more durable scissors (no fragile leafspring) and slightly larger profile that fit my hands better, and for some strange reason the Wenger was sharp*er* out of the box, neither one was particularly sharp, per se, but between the two, the Wenger had more of an edge

a trip down the Sharpmaker later and it was hair-popping sharp
...

anyway, , one of the things that annoys me about keychain knives is that they're inconvenient to detach from the keyring once attached by their split-rings, i wanted a keyring knife that i could quickly remove from the keyring for sharpening or other uses where a dangling keyring is annoying

so, i looked through my pile of spare parts, found a couple extra split rings and a snapring, attached them to the Esquire's splitring and voila!, a quick-release keyring SAK....

I had the same problem taking my Victorinox Signature Lite and Arc AAA-P off and on my keyring, so I use these spring clips, which are even smaller than the swivel clip you have there. I got mine from TAD Gear.
