I had a dream about a Kabar sword

I keep having these dreams about post apocalypse Mad Max type world and I am out scavenging for supplies and weapons. So anyways I am out in a desert type landscape and just laying on the ground are two swords made by kabar. One is a sword that looks like a big Ontario SP 50 knife and the other is a big Kabar bowie looking sword. The blades are black finish and probably 20 inches long or so. They had one handle was like Kraton and big enough to hold 1 handed the other had a bigger handle for two handed use. One had removeable grips like the Becker Bk9 does. I know these don't exist but I keep seeing them in my dream that I have had like 3 times so far.

I day dream of most knife makers making longer versions of their knives...

Grass machete looks real good. I just discovered that. Maybe a big sword would be good addition to the zombie line or something. Lol this was not a peyote induced dream :)
 
I prefer a shorter type sword than most. I do love my Cheness Tenchi, but I have plans to acquire an Oniyuri. Oh, mama, that 9260 silica alloy is some tough ass stuff.

And Cheness makes some great monosteel blades.

So, does Kabar, but nothing in a sword length. Except perhaps a new ZK sword that we haven't seen.

I have been looking for a sword made by another US company that makes blades similar to Ka-Bar, but they discontinued it long ago and I have been trying to pick one up.

In any case, I hate the Asian styles. Something about the coloring and materials just turns me off, even though they may be very high quality. I like the looks and idea of a 1095 or even a 1080 (Ka-Bar made Taiwan blade) in a 15-20 in blade with a hand and a half to 2 hand setup with either a paracord wrap or the kraton handles. It would be cool for sure!

I could actually see them doing something along the lines of a MK-2 inspired single-handed messer...the gears in my head are turning... :D
 
...Meh...I could do without a waki. A tactical messer would be BOSS though, and more in line with KA-BAR's aesthetic. :D

I dont like the zombie green grips but it would be great if kabar made a sword like this. Would go along well with the hand to hand zombie killer theme. I like the black kraton handle and the removeable grivory grips like becker bk9
