The 511 is that knife! Almost. The notable exception is that the RMD does have a useable choil which can come in handy should you find it necessary to 'choke-up' on the knife a bit for some detail work.

The RMD is just about perfect. The 511 is basically a lighter weight version IMO. Great blade shape and ergo's on both. Note that the RMD DOES have a slightly larger handle... Guys with big mitts may want to take note of that fact. Nice job by the Busse family on both knives. Good stuff!

I noticed right away that they were very close. Love em both. The 511 is a real bargain.

Love the RMD, it might end up being my first Swamp Rat yet.
