That my knives started to multiply on their own!
Like I was goofing with my knives on a table and for every nice knife I had, a really cheap generic looking knife would pop up from under the rags and next thing I know, I got a pile of all these really cheap knives to deal with.
I was like WTF? where did all this stuff come from?
Overwhelming!
I'm not sure if it was a dream or a nightmare.

Quarantine getting to you?

Being serious for a moment, if your reaction was to be unpleasantly surprised, it sounds like a lot of tedious details suddenly got dumped on you, and you're at a loss for how to deal with them.

What he said. Or it could mean not to waste your money on frivolous, impulsive, cheap buys....they will not satisfy your wanting a new knife. Save up and cry only once. You have something in mind and feel guilty about wanting to buy it for yourself.

You can go on tv shopping and buy one hundred junkers for one hundred bucks...
Bottom Line: you have a lot of junk and you lost your money..

"Wake up there, Muttley, you're dreaming again!

You're not Robin Hood and you're not Gunga Din.

You're not a brave knight or a king who's been crowned.

You're just plain ol' Muttley, the snickering hound."

Stop feeding them after midnight and keep them away from water.

yes getting thrown out of paradise
is a rather rude awakening.
having gained too much knowledge
will over time complicate and spoil things.
ignorance is bliss...stop reading stuff :-)
being active on these here forums is kinda
like growing up with reasoning and maturity,
with your taste and mindset on knives having been changed.forever,
its time to reevaluate the neccessity
of buying when older things are stil very
much in working order.... :-)
otherwise "new junk" will keep piling up.

The dream means you need more knives. It's completely normal.

This is my dream

IMG_0151.JPG IMG_0157.JPG I dream of having a good stout Hudson Bay knife, being able to survive in a tough situation. Maybe on an island somewhere. I am not a survivalist, sooooo........maybe I should add maybe at a Sandals resort, in a hammock on the beach and using my HB to cut open a coconut to put in a straw to enjoy the cold sweet cold contents. :D

I read a story once where a young Indian (about 13 or 14) girl got separated from the rest of the tribe and got lost in the forest. (at one time, the forest here in North East Ohio was so thick, many an early settler got lost if they ventured out of sight of their cabin). Since it was Fall, and it turned cold before they found her, they gave up all hope for her. Come Spring, she appeared walking out of the forest, unharmed and none the worse for having spent the Winter alone. All she had was a Hudson Bay trade knife - at this point worn down pretty good from being sharpened so often. Good example of it being the person wielding the tool, more than the tool itself.

Dreams are weird ........
Mental health professionals will tell you dreams help to resolve issues.
Don't take them to literally.
Even what you eat can effect your dreams.
