Greetings all,
Well, a few days back, a co-worker had his chocolate lab bolt while a family member had taken said pooch for a romp in a nearby forrest area. The following morning, I had a little bit of time to lend a hand, so loaded up my own four legged co-pilot, hit the gravel road, dropped it into 4WD, and started looking, hoping poochy might be wandering in the area looking for somebody with a treat. I figured in case poochy had gotten caught in the brush or other 'issue' dogs sometimes get themselves into in the woods, I figured I better take something along. Had I a sheath for the HOGFSH, that probably would have gotten the nod. I considered the Ratweiler w/ kydex...another good choice. But as it was, the TankBuster w/ SpecOps sheath wound up riding shotgun. I felt well equipped in case I needed a bombproof fixed blade.
I had been pressed for time, and it wasn't a 'recreational' outing, so I didn't snap any photos (but it did happen...honest).
I wound up not locating fido, but there is a happy ending...he turned up later in the day not too far away...hungry but otherwise OK.
Tankbuster--good to go.
