I had to mess with it. Case medium stockman mini review

I had recently returned a stockman due to a lazy blade. The one I got back was better. No blade play whatsoever. Blades smooth as glass on open/close, athought the main blade still lacks a good snap. Good enough though. The springs have a slight radius where they stamped the steel, which is no big deal for a user. Other Pa. manufacturers do a better job with this. Case used to put a decent small swedge to break the angles on the blades, and this one with the tumbled blades was a little lacking. I still need to polish them up a bit, but here are the blades re-swedged a little bit more than Cases usual. Started messing with it because the pen blade was hanging up in the nail nick of the sheepsfoot. They really pack the blades into this frame so I can see why they catch and rub. Overall I am happy with this new user.

^^^nice knife. he medium case stockman must be one of the most traditional knives to linger in pockets.

Carried this 9 dot for many years so I figured I would buy another one with full blades. Funny thing, I cleaned up the old one and started carrying that one too. These hollow ground blades are crazy sharp.
