Before discovering bladeforums I was just an ordinary bloke, knives were just another tool and I grabbed whatever was closest and did what needed doing.

Now I find myself designing and getting custom built a knife at great expense, I can't walk by the knife shop without wasting an hour in there looking at everything, I've just spent more of my hard earned bucks buying a Spyderco Meerkat and I'm looking forward to designing yet another knife and spending money that I could be using for food or mortgage payments or suchlike. I can see myself in years to come, divorced, living on the streets, hanging around knife shops, picking pockets to sustain my knife habit ...

Thanks a lot guys.

Say it with me: I do NOT have a problem, I have a . . . hobby. Yeah, that's it, a hobby!

welcome to unknown years of always what just one more "special one"! Paul

You know, a year ago all I wanted was a SAK. Now I'm acquiring equipment to make my own fixed blades.

I blame all of you as well. It's not like I conciously went through all those knives, or anything.

:(

I've spent $1200 in the past two months on knives - and Im a college student w/ a part time job! I feel your pain !

Welcome to the club. I am going to stop collecting shortly because I have ordered a Strider AR and a JEB Evolution is being made for me as we speak. After that I am done. Forever. No more. Well maybe after I buy a Spyderco ATR, Lone Wolf Harsey Tactical, Buck/Strider solution....then I will be done, really, I mean it this time... Who am I trying to kid, I better sign up for more OT at work again. I don't think I will ever stop collecting now! I do agree that my "hobby" has gotten worse since I joined Blade Forums and started to read all the posts. It just gave me too many ideas!!!:) :D :) :D

...That's alright; I hate you too, and everybody else on this damn planet.

BTW...Welcome to BladeForums.:D.

Someone around here has a sig line that I just love and I think says it best: "Just one more knife and I'll be complete..."

Well, that's the first step, recognizing that you have a problem...
Second step, ignore it and continue browsing the forsale forums...lol

Note to self...I gotta stay outta there too!! :)
